How to connect and use a BTFON's BTOpenzone Spot

When you see a BTOpenzone signal in the list of available WiFi networks, connect to it.

Connecting to BT Openzone signal on Windows XP

Open your web browser

Open your web browser (IE, Firefox, Opera…) and go to any website i.e.: www.wikipedia.org. You will be forwarded to BT FON's Captive Portal.

Select your account type.

To log in as a FON member click on the "All other BT FON and FON Members" button (the one in the middle).

Note: if you are not yet sharing your Internet connection and you are not a BT Openzone customer either, you will need to purchase and use FON WiFi Passes




Log in.

Once at the log-in page enter the email address associated to your FON account and your password and enjoy your free roaming or your connection pass.

How to connect and use Premium BTOpenzone hotspots through FON/BTFON

To use a Premium BTOpenzone hotspot as a FON member you will need FON WiFi Credit availabe in your FON account.
