- Try to reboot the fonera 2 with the 3G stick plugged in
- Did you configure your 3G provider/username/password/apn correctly?
- The USB Led only goes on when a Storage Device is connected
debug
- acquire SSH access; this only works in "developer mode" -> check applications to activate developer mode -> the background turns GREEN.
- Perform a reboot ; wait untill the power led returns to green : SSH key is generated
- Perform a reboot once more : SSH server will now be running with these ssh keys.
- acquire a SSH client (eg : Putty)
- connect with this client via MyPlace or LAN of the Fonera 2.0 (ssh : 192.168.10.1)
- user : root
- password : <whatever you chose>
- logread
- this should show if it detected something plugged in
- cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
- This shows what it found connected on the usb bus
