You have to edit /etc/resolv.conf to correct the DNS servers, as the supplied ones that are 10.x don't work! : 

nameserver 172.31.76.69
nameserver 172.31.140.69

Don't know how to make this permanent though- have opened a TRAC ticket here: http://trac.fonosfera.org/fon-ng/ticket/209

For reference, the other settings are:

  • APN: three.co.uk
  • user: three
  • pass: three

Update 20th April

The above ticket got closed, so I reopened another one: http://trac.fonosfera.org/fon-ng/ticket/239 which got resolved by adding an option to 'use default DNS', however it's not clear how to then specify the correct DNS. I have opened a new ticket (244).

Update 23rd October 2009

Apparently this kind of info should be placed in the /etc/3gsp.db.lua file, will update later if I manage to do this and it cures the problem.
