This FAQ answers the most frequently asked questions about the Fonera 2.0n and the Fonera 2.0g

What is the difference between the Fonera 2.0g and the Fonera 2.0n?

The Fonera 2.0n is the most recent version of FON's Wireless router. It is more powerful than the Fonera 2.0g. It has more memory and a faster processor. The Fonera 2.0n supports the fastest wireless transfer protocol available: IEEE 802.11n, also called 'WiFi N'. In addition the Fonera 2.0n has 4 Ethernet LAN ports when the Fonera 2.0g comes with only 1 LAN port and 1 Internet port.

Though the Fonera 2.0g and 2.0n both comes with a USB port and use the same software, also called 'firmware', thus the same functionalities are available on both Foneras 2.0. Some functionality will just be slightly slower on the Fonera 2.0g

Note: As opposed to the Fonera 2.0g, the Fonera 2.0n currently does not offer the Wifi-WAN mode, i.e. you cannot currently connect the Fonera 2.0n to the internet via WLAN.
