Note: You cannot use the Fontenna or other antennas with the Fonera 2.0n. Antennas are not detachable.

Switch and Buttons

Fonera 2.0n Back
  • Wireless Switch: When set to OFF
    • The Fonera 2.0 will not broadcast any Wireless signal anymore. Consequently no members of the FON community will be able to connect to your Fonera anymore, and you will have to use an Ethernet cable to access your Fonera.
    • Since you are not sharing your Internet access with the FON community, your roaming privileges will be suspended. i.e. You will not be able to connect to FON Spots for free anymore.
  • Reset Button: While the Fonera is switched ON
    • One click on the button activate WPS (only available since firmware 2.3.5.0).
    • Pressing the button from 2 to 5 seconds reboots the Fonera.
    • Pressing this button from 10 to 30 seconds restore the default settings of the Fonera.
  • Reset Button: While the Fonera is switched OFF, holding this button while the Fonera boots trigger it's firmware restore mode.
