FrancoFON is a French Team of Foneros. You can communicate with them directly on the French Board.

Firmware FrancoFON
What is it ?
FrancoFON firmware is a supplemental firmware to the official FON's firmware.
It is mainly a script collection enhancing the Fonera.
- This firmware is provided "as it" and it is not officialy supported by FON.
- You use it at your own risks. FrancoFON is NOT responsible for eventual damages which could result of it utilization.

Compatibility
FrancoFON firmware is compatible with :
- Fonera ( all version but version greater than 0.7.3 is recommended)
The features of FrancoFON firmware are the following:
- Better firewall
- Port forwarding wizzard
- Reserve addresse on private network
- Blacklist some sites for public network
- DNS modifications
- Antenna power tuning
- Remote reboot
- Dyndns management.
- Hosts file management
- Real time display for private and public connections.
- Display last version available. (in red if your are not uptodate)
- Hidden SSID on private network
- Language management (English, French and Roman for the moment)
- Can be upgraded from an alternative server
- Allow @ and / characters for some pppoe ISP, up to 64 characters
- Open/close SSH
- Open/close admin by ethernet port.
- Possibility of banning MAC addresses on public and private network with scheduler.
- Possibility of connecting LaFonera to an existing AP to use his network instead of having an ethernet wire.

- Private signal still present in ponte2 mode
- Reboot/connection notification by mail
- Reboot/connection notification by Nabaztag
- Timezone Configuration
- Possibility of giving a name to La fonera.
- Local user management
- Realtime display of status and identity of connected foneros.
- Management of authorized websites when your are not connected (whitelist)
- Backup/restore of configuration.
- Diagnostic windows allowing you to run command on La Fonera directly from admin console.
GPS Export & POI Status
FrancoFON make every night GPS export where you can view stats about active/inactive stats. This tool is available in French, English, Dutch and German. (at the moment). If you want help us and translate it in your language, contact us! (We send you a small files with all strings to translate)
