ISP
From FON Wiki Beta
With a lot of broadband providers ("ISP") we are carrying out negotiations in order for them to support the idea behind FON. FON promotes additional broadband connections as users can only become active members of the FON Community if they already have broadband access. FON also delivers a great additional feature to ISPs broadband access: Foneros are able to "take their broadband connection with them" and surf on all FONspots worldwide. FON has already closed partnerships with several ISPs around the world http://www.fon.com/en/info/fonFriends and we are constantly adding new ISP partners actively supporting the FON Movement. There is no uniform standard practice amongst ISPs with regards to sharing, whenever a Fonero purchases and installs the La Fonera (or downloads the Software), the Fonero must first attest that she has reviewed her ISP’s user agreement and is permitted to become a Fonero. Thus, FON encourages potential Foneros to comply with their ISP user agreements when becoming a Fonero and when installing the La Fonera.

ISP Instructions
This page is intended to list ISP's around the world and to compile the settings that might be needed to use the La Fonera with their modem or router.
Important clarification: The La Fonera and the La Fonera+ should work with any ISP's modem or router as long as there's possible to plug them into an Ethernet port. If you have a modem or router with a DHCP service you won't even need to configure anything.
