Internet Provider SpeedXS provides ADSL in The Netherlands via the BBned network.

Usage of La Fonera with ADSL-modem and Router

When you use a modem and router (perhaps combined in 1, like the Speedtouch 780 or 546) you only need to connect the La Fonera with a free LAN-port on the router.

Usage of La Fonera with only an ADSL-modem (no router)

If you only use a modem in bridge-modus (like the Copperjet modem) and you wil be using the La Fonera as first router, please use the DHCP setting. SpeedXS uses dafault DHCP-leases of 3 hours. This means that after installing the La Fonera it might take up to 3 hours before the La Fonera has an internet connection.
