My FON for Alien users
My Messages Section
The My Messages section is basically a virtual messaging system in your My Fon Zone. It contains the ability to store contacts, compose messages, and track your received and written messages.

My FON WiFi Passes Section
The My FON WiFi Passes section tells you how many passes you have, your purchase history, and it is also where you activate one of your passes when you connect to a FON Hotspot.
My Travel Log Section
My Travel Log section allows you to keep track of all FON Spot you have connected. More information can be found here...
My Personal Info
Here you can modify the personal details associated to your FON account (such as your account password). This section includes a "Change FON Profile" tab. This feature does NOT change your Fonero profile from 'Alien' to 'Bill' or 'Linus', but explains how to do so. By clicking on the button, you will be redirected to the FON Shop. Keep in mind that the first step for becoming a 'Bill' or 'Linus' is getting a FON router so that you can provide a FON Spot. To change your FON profile you must register a FON Router as described in the 'Quick Installation Guide' or here.

FON WiFi Credit Section
Here you can check your FON WiFi Credit balance, add Credit and keep a record of your FON WiFi Credit purchases and usages.
Configure your FON Router Section
Here you can change some of the La Fonera's configuration settings like SSID names, WPA password, etc.

Personalize your FON Spot2
Allows you to perform certain customizations in order to personalize your FON Spot's captive portal. If you never personalize your FON Spot, people connecting to it signal will see a basic version of the FON's captive portal (without any of the personalized elements)

Remember, you must keep your La Fonera online to enjoy this program.

WiFi Money Section
Here you can check your 'WiFi Money' balance, use your 'WiFi Money' to buy 'FON WiFi Credit' and keep track of passes sold through your FON Spot and all the payments to your Paypal account.
FON Spot Status Section
This handy feature shows (almost in real time) the status of all your La Fonera routers. This section is especially useful when you are not at home (or at the same location as your La Fonera) but want to ensure it is always running and available. It is also a great help if you ever experience any trouble accessing the Internet, due to the fact that it provides information about the cause of the trouble. This is quicker than checking the maps if you want to know your La Fonera status. If you have a single La Fonera router, clicking on this section will take you to the Locate your FON Router feature. If you own two or more La Fonera routers clicking on it will show the status of each and every of your routers.
Exceptions
- Fonero gets Fonero promotion is currently not available in Portugal, Russia and the UK
- Friends and Family feature is currently not available in Russia and the UK
- Personalize your FON Spot is currently not available in Russia
