Personalize your FON Spot

Anyway, we suggest to use a alternative browser like Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Opera.

If you never personalize your FON Spot, people connecting to the public (FON_) signal will see a basic version of the FON's captive portal (without any of the personalized elements).

However, you can perform certain customizations in order to personalize your FON Spot's captive portal:

Web site: You may enter a URL to which users will have unlimited access to. A link for this site will be shown on your FON Spot captive portal (the one that people sees when they first connect to the public signal. This could be a great way to promote your personal or business site.

Welcome text: This is meant to welcome users accessing your FON Spot and may be used for writing about your personal interests, or if you are running a business you might as well advertise yourself.

YouTube URL: You may enter the address of your favorite YouTube video, in order to show it on your portal page.

Flickr album/photo: These two fields allow you to display a complete Flickr album or a single picture on your captive protal, just by entering the URLs of existing content on Flickr.com
