How to create screen shots

Screen shots are very helpful for our staff members to understand the problems you have. Many times you'll be asked to send one or two to illustrate your issue. If you are not very familiar with PCs, here are some tips about how to take screen shots

Screenshot with Windows Operating Systems:

A screenshot is an image that captures exactly what you see on your screen. To create one, press PrtScn on your keyboard. This will copy an image of the entire desktop to the clipboard. Then you can paste this image into other programmes.

To save the image, paste it into MSPaint (included with Windows), and click File>Save As and choose the .jpg file format. Then use the Attach Documents to Question in the Contact FON option

Suggestion for Windows users:

It's not necessary, but makes life easier :)

  • If you're using the Firefox browser, there are some smart add ons which give you the possibility to take screen shots from websites. You can try 'Screengrab' and 'Fireshot' .
