Limit the bandwitdh you share

Slider to change the bandwidth you want to share

Here you can limit the bandwidth you share with the other Foneros. This value means the maximum bandwidth which will be available at your FON Spot for downloads. This may be utile when the traffic on the FON Spot is affecting your own Internet experience at your private network. Normally it will not be necessary to use this.

This value does only apply to the public FON Spot signal. The performance of the private 'MyPlace' signal is not affected!

Change the WiFi signal names (SSIDs)

Here you can change the name of both WiFi signal names of your La Fonera remotely, without having to access the Management Console.

  • The private signal always begins with 'FON_...', so it is easily to recognize a FON Spot signal. This part can't be changed, but you can change the name behind the underscore.
