How to test

  • How to test what?
  • To test if it is recognize you just need to plug it, it shows in dashboard if recognized. Then you have to enter the right parameters so the 3G modem can connect
  • To help us getting more devices supported we need the result the following command while UMTS modem is plugged, as well as it's exact model, brand, mobile operator: 
# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
# dmesg
  • Then opening a bug with these informations on fonosfera.org is prefered than using the wiki
