General

  • The Nintendo Wii supports WiFi 100%.
    • This includes supporting the MyPlace Default WPA/PSK-TKIP encryption!
    • You can even improve your Fonera Security to WPA2/PSK-AES, hence your Nintendo WII supports it as well.
  • Advise is to change your Fonera Wifi Channel "auto" to 1, 6 or 11 untill you see a MyPlace.

Configuration

  • In the WII menu choose internet
  • Connections
  • Wifi
  • empty connection
  • Find accesspoint
  • Select "myplace"
  • Test connection
  • Insert WPA Key (your serial number as found at the bottom of your La Fonera)
  • Finished
